Our Mission

To ensure every patient, everywhere, is cared for by a confident, competent, compassionate clinician and to give every clinician the opportunity to become one.

Our Story

Patient Ready was founded by nursing educators at a leading academic institution who saw a growing gap between how clinicians are trained and what real care demands. Learners were mastering tasks, but without enough opportunity to practice judgment, communication, and decision-making in situations that felt human and uncertain.

Our team of medical professionals, educators, and immersive experience builders believed the field could do better. As AI entered clinical education, we saw confusion around what “AI-powered” truly meant and how little of it reflected real patient interaction.

We built Patient Ready to set a higher standard. By pioneering emotionally responsive AI patients, families, and care teams, we created simulations where conversations unfold naturally and learner decisions shape outcomes. Today, universities and health systems use Patient Ready to accelerate readiness, reduce variability, and support more human-centered care at scale.
